Home Remedy for the Cold Season
When the first symptoms of a cold start such as dry and sore throat with post nasal drip and a cough, I always reccommend to my patients to get a red onion and lemon from your local market. Peel and cut the onion into cubes and place in a bowl. Cut the lemon and squeeze the juice over the onion. Pour enough water to cover the cut onion and lemon mixture. Cover the bowl with a lid or plate and allow it cure overnight. Strain and drink the liquid the next day to stop the cold from getting worse. If you do this early enought you can be well in a coulple of days instead of being sick for two weeks.
